Public Health Digital Platform

Turning Complex Vaccine Information Into a Clear, Trusted Family Resource.

Vaccine Info for Families needed more than a polished website. It needed a credible digital platform capable of organizing timely health information, supporting community education, and helping families locate trustworthy vaccine resources with greater clarity.

The Challenge

The Information Was Important. The Platform Had to Feel Equally Trustworthy.

Vaccine education sits at the intersection of health, trust, community, urgency, and public understanding. The website had to make complex information easier to navigate without feeling cold, overwhelming, or visually generic.

01

A Limited Starting Platform

The original environment restricted layout flexibility, visual hierarchy, content organization, and the ability to expand the platform as public-health information changed.

02

High-Trust Subject Matter

Health information requires an experience that feels credible, calm, current, and intentional before visitors engage with a single article or resource.

03

Several Audience Needs

Families, healthcare professionals, educators, faith leaders, community organizations, and partners needed distinct pathways through one connected information system.

04

Information That Keeps Changing

Static pages were not enough. The organization needed a structure capable of supporting alerts, resources, submitted materials, educational content, and ongoing updates.

The design could not simply look responsible. It had to make responsible information easier to find, understand, share, and maintain.

The Strategic Response

Build Trust First. Then Make the Information Move.

The rebuild shifted the project from a collection of pages into a connected public-health content platform. Every decision was evaluated against credibility, clarity, action, and long-term maintainability.

01

Establish Immediate Credibility

Use strong hierarchy, controlled visual language, trusted organizational cues, and clear public-health context.

02

Reduce Information Overload

Break dense subjects into scannable categories, clear pathways, expandable resources, and focused calls to action.

03

Support Continuous Updates

Build a WordPress foundation that allows CARLDEN to publish, organize, and expand information without rebuilding the site.

04

Create Paths for Participation

Connect education with enrollment, partner registration, feedback, resource submissions, and community engagement.

Organizational Credibility

The Platform Needed a Clear Source of Authority.

The website connects the Vaccine Info for Families initiative to CARLDEN’s broader public-health and community-education work. This gives visitors organizational context instead of presenting the platform as an isolated collection of health links.

  • Clear organizational ownership
  • Mission and purpose framing
  • Partner registration pathways
  • Visible contact and resource access
  • Consistent trust signals throughout the footer

Experience Design

One Platform. Several High-Priority Journeys.

The site balances timely updates, long-form education, trusted resources, and coalition participation without forcing every visitor through the same path.

01 / Updates + Alerts

Changing Information Remains Visible and Organized.

The publishing system gives timely information clear visual priority while keeping it connected to the larger resource platform.

  • Public-health alert pathways
  • Measles and outbreak information
  • News and updates archive
  • Clear article hierarchy
  • Mobile-friendly content cards

Content Infrastructure

Not a Brochure Website. A Platform Built to Keep Evolving.

CARLDEN needed a system capable of supporting new information, educational articles, resource submissions, coalition activity, and future public-health campaigns.

01

Resource Library

Categorized content helps different audiences reach relevant guidance without digging through one enormous archive.

02

Timely Publishing

The platform supports new health guidance, campaign information, community updates, and changing public-health needs.

03

Educational Media

Articles, videos, downloadable resources, and visuals create multiple ways for visitors to understand important information.

04

Community Contributions

Submission and registration pathways help the resource hub support participation rather than passive content consumption.

Structured Public-Health Publishing

Timely Information Can Expand Without Breaking the Experience.

New perspectives, health guidance, community stories, and educational updates can be published within a consistent visual and editorial system. The platform grows while the experience remains recognizable.

Responsive Experience

Complex Information, Clear on Every Screen.

Mobile design was treated as a primary experience rather than a compressed desktop afterthought. Content remains scannable, actions remain visible, and information pathways stay usable.

  • Focused mobile navigation
  • Readable content hierarchy
  • Accessible touch targets
  • Stacked resource pathways
  • Visible enrollment and submission actions

Existing Brand, Expanded Experience

The Website Became the Living Expression of the Initiative.

MW Designs worked within CARLDEN’s existing brand context and translated the initiative into a more cohesive digital system built around trust, education, participation, and public access.

CARLDEN’s logo and core identity were supplied by the client. MW Designs did not create the logo.

The Outcome

From an Urgent Website Build to a Scalable Public-Health Platform.

The rebuilt experience gives the organization a stronger public presence and a more practical system for education, communication, participation, and future expansion.

01 Replaced a restricted original environment
02 Created a scalable WordPress foundation
03 Improved information organization and navigation
04 Established a stronger visual trust system
05 Made priority resources easier to locate
06 Supported future updates and content expansion
